Although Wantastiquet Mt. is in New Hampshire, just over the the Connecticut River, it affords great views into Southern Vermont.

Xerxes climbed all 1,300 ft and back down again. He's an amazing hiker! He found a toad on the lower half of the trail and carried it all the way to the summit. Both of them almost croaked; I had to keep hosing them down with water.
